We love any celebration at Manhay Farm. Contact us if you are celebrating a birthday, anniversary, corporate function or away day, hen and stag do, or even if you want to hold a divorce party! We would love to plan any event you have in mind. 

We can also be the venue for your yoga retreat, day festival, theatre, music event, or filming location. 

 Secure your wedding day: A £1000 deposit guarantees your perfect wedding date. Six months before, celebrate with a 50% payment, and three months prior, finalise your investment with the remaining balance.

For other celebrations: A 50% deposit sparks the excitement and guarantees your event, and three months to go, your event is fully funded. 

Our biggest barn venue sits up to 120 guests. Up to 200 evening guests can be invited if tables and chairs are not required for all. 

One of the best things about Manhay Farm is that we don't restrict you to menus A or B. Food is one of the most important aspects of any successful event, and every taste is different. We can provide any guidance and inspiration if needed. 

Yes, a staffed bar for your event is included in the venue fee. We work with you to stock the bar just how you would like, and we don't charge ridiculous prices!  We accept credit and debit card payments at our bar.  Unfortunately, we cannot accept cash.  

If you are holding a wedding at Manhay Farm, you can access the venue the day before from 8 am. For other celebrations, you can access the venue on the morning of the event. If you need to access the venue earlier, just let us know, and we can discuss your requirements. 

The only thing we don't offer at Manhay Farm is in-house catering. As foodies ourselves we believe that food is one of the most important aspects of any event. Food preference is also a very personal choice. That's why we don't restrict you to menus A or B or limit you to a supplier list. However, if you need inspiration or recommendations, just ask.    

Absolutely! An event is not complete without a sing-along and someone breaking out the caterpillar on the dancefloor.   

We have another 4 acres for camping and glamping, and we even have a newly refurbished one-bedroom cottage for you that is the perfect hideaway before, during and after your event. For guests that like to stay in more traditional accommodation, then we have the Premier Inn at The Maytree just 5 minutes drive away or Whealdream for self-catering lodges with hot tubs!   

We are in the process of applying for a license to hold legal wedding ceremonies in Manhay Farm Gardens and also in the Bygharn Barn. We hope that this will be finalised before the end of 2024. In the meantime, we can recommend some lovely celebrants who specialise in authentic, heartfelt ceremonies which celebrate your unique love story. 

Yes, we offer free parking to all of our guests, and we have space on our fields for up to 100 cars. 

At 11 pm, the last orders are called;  by 11:30 pm, all music should cease. The venue closes at midnight. We ask that guests who aren’t staying overnight have pre-booked taxis to collect them by midnight. We also ask overnight guests to retire to the bijou and their camper vans and tents at this time.

Yes! We love to see dogs at Manhay Farm. They are welcome to attend the ceremony and reception. Our bridal bijou is also dog-friendly.

Yes. We use powerful space heaters to heat our barns during the cooler months. Natural wood acts as an excellent insulator, and the floors are carpeted.

Some candles may be permitted at Manhay Farm. However, they will need to be placed in suitable candle holders and approved by the team. Battery-operated candles and fairy lights are also a great alternative. We allow sparklers outside the barn and small self-contained fire pits can be used if they are placed on a suitable base to protect the ground or grass from burning. Fireworks are unfortunately not permitted.

Unexpected events can happen, and having the right insurance can provide peace of mind and financial protection if things don't go exactly as planned.

Insurance companies offer various policies at low costs to suit your specific needs, whether it's protecting against supplier cancellations, lost deposits, unexpected illness and more.

Of course, we'll be here every step of the way to ensure your wedding day runs smoothly.  But having the right insurance can give you that extra layer of security and let you relax and enjoy your special day to the fullest.
